The Boomerang Effect

The Boomerang Effect

To achieve our desired outcomes and sharpen our ability to thrive in certain glorified areas of our life, we need to change the disempowering stories we tell ourselves and this can only be done when we reorientate our expectations. A disempowering story controls people to the point of being stuck in the beliefs that do not serve them. Most times, we tell our story in a selective way so we wouldn’t have to ever maximize our effort towards a liberating strategy for fear of failure. In order to relinquish a disempowering belief, we have to breakthrough the boundary conditions of our small thinking that’s limits us. It doesnt matter whether we have an empowering belief or disempowering one, we are powerfully influenced by the mental and emotional state we choose to be in. As humans, we develop emotional patterns (moods) with which we filter how we look at our world and lives. Our reality is a combined effect of our mindset and frame of reference. There is a process to the structure of thoughts we accommodate which triggers a change in our behavior and radical outcome, to be in congruence with our state of mind. We are actively responsible for our internal state, so understanding the neurology of our mind and body will inform us to create new expressions of our thought patterns and mental behavior. The human mind operates habitually to determine our daily experiencses, and each experience is tied our unique representation of the world. We all have particular narratives we recite to ourselves concerning why we can or cannot achieve something in our lives. Whether we believe we can or can’t, either way we’re right, because our expectation controls our focus, perceptions, and determines the direction of our feelings and actions, and hence our ultimate outcomes. Our internal state, to an extent, influences the narrative that we believe about who we are, what we’re capable of, and what we can achieve or not. Our state determines our level of mental maturity to reframe our story to one that will empower us. How then can we change our state of mind when we’re not able to maximize our true potential? Science had proven that we can change our emotional mood when we provoke a radical change in our physiology and what we delibrately focus on. Energy is known to flow where our focus goes and whatever we focus on effects our state. Its up to us to either magnify what’s wrong or embrace all that is right. Our state in an instant can affect the belief we have about who we are, what’s life about, what’s possible and what’s not. Our believe often determine whether or not we will maximize our capabilities and achieve what we’re truly after in an ecological way. We need to consciously put ourselves in a resourceful state as much as possible until we have mastered attracting that which we want effortlessly.
